A NEW BREED

Change is here. No longer will this country be the same. God is raising up a new breed, one that will not succumb to conformity, one that will lead by example. We will rise up and stand for our beliefs, rather than compromise our faith.

I don’t know about you, but this past year has brought a new understanding to what freedom, faith, and integrity mean to me. It is more than just believing in your heart.

It is standing for your faith, with your face against the wind. When did we get so anesthetized to what is taking place around us, that we became complacent in our action?

Where were we when they removed prayer from schools? When we, by silence, agreed to slaughter our unborn in the womb? Now will we sit back in silence, and let the minority dictate to the majority where our faith lies, and remove our Father from the foundation of this country, where our forefathers believed our faith should lie?

Last Sept.11, 2009, we made a stand for our faith. In less than two and half weeks exposure, (due to creative restraints) we put on our second semi annual event called the One God Movement. Making our stand, “We Will Not Be Silent.” We had over 20 artist, some headliners from Universal’s Rock the Universe. Despite the little time we had to spread the news to draw people out, we had around three thousand come out to join us at Lake Eola Park through out the day. It was awesome to see the passion of those that came. There has been a stirring, and many want us to do this again, so we are preparing for the next One God Movement. If you want to join us be watching
the Cornerstone Connection. We will announce our next
event in our upcoming issues or go to
www.OneGodMovement.org. Join us in this revolution of No More Silence. God has given us a new song, for this young generation, to resound His name the Highest. You can download the song, called “No More Silence,” for  free untill the end of the year.

We must not only believe in our heart, but show by our actions, we are a peculiar people, sold out, unwavering, steadfast and relentless to the cause of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear readers, do not let Christ’s death be in vain for your life, for the lust of self-image, greed, comfort, and satisfying the flesh. Actually, I have never found anything more satisfying and rewarding as when I feel my Father’s presence. It is better than any high from alcohol/drugs, etc. (Sadly, I have tried most of them in my past). A relatioship with God is more rewarding than anything this world has to offer. He is all-consuming! There is no greater comfort than to experience an intimate relationship with the Lord. Nothing compares to the richness, and the depths of His love.

How is it He gave His life and blessed us to be in one of the richest, most bountiful countries in all the world? He gives us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and yet, we struggle to give Him an hour a day. We struggle to share, to speak of Him to those we love and know as friends, much less strangers.

Remember the saying, “actions speak louder than words.”

Whenever you stand for something, there will always be conflict, but it is not the end; it is just part of the process.

I pray that over Christmas, you celebrate Jesus, the reason for the season, and do not buy the lie, keeping your faith hidden with generic holiday greetings and shallow Christmas cards that reveal nothing of your faith.

Be a witness. Defy the logic of the world and say
“Merry Christmas!” to all you encounter.

It doesn’t matter how much money you have; it is about how much love He had to give, the greatest gift of all.

He sacrificed His life to give the ultimate example of true love - Eternal love.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.1

We pray that 2010 will be a year filled with tremendous blessings and miracles for you all, celebrating with your families the timeless gift of Christ.

May your New Year be filled with joy, peace, prosperity, much laughter, fun, and most important, a deeper more intimate relatioship with your Savior Jesus Christ.

Happy New Year!

Expecting Great Things!
